Snow Day!

{February 24th}

 

We finally got a decent snow storm after a pretty mild winter.

It was awesome that it hit on a Sunday when we could stay home all day

but I wouldn't have complained to have a snow day from work on a weekday instead!

 

Braxton hasn't really played out in the snow much but loves to be outside so I figured he'd love it.

He let us get him all bundled up and gets excited to get his boots on.

He had a hard time walking in the deep snow but loved every second of it.

He didn't even care when he fell down in it or got snow down his back and up his shirt

(snow pants are the one thing we haven't gotten yet!)

 

He would have stayed outside all afternoon if we let him but his poor little face was bright red

and his shirt was caked in snow.

 

We came in to warm up with hot chocolate and marshmallows.

Also found out little man LOVES marshmallows!! ha!

 

Brian always loved playing in the snow and was even eager to build an igloo this weekend.

I keep having to remind him that Braxton is only 1

but I know they will live it up as he gets older.

So glad we have a little snow baby!
