Steamboat Spring Skiing

{March 5-6, 2021}

We had the perfect spring skiing weather for a long weekend up in Steamboat.
Since we don't have ski passes for the boys, we did Howelsen Hill for cheap.  Everett and Grayson didn't really care for the magic carpet so I just opened to hang on the little bunny slope and let them walk back up.  Everett was being so sweet and trying to help Grayson out.  Braxton and Brian got to get in a few runs off the T-bar.

Grayson's dream came true when we were able to eat dinner in a gondola!

February Updates

Everett presenting his 100 Day project :: cutie neighbor sleepover

The boys hosted the sweetest surprise Valentines Dinner for me!  They cooked my favorite fancy meal (artichokes and crab legs), complete with a reservation list and menu.
All the boys got super into it and it was probably the most special thing Brian and them could have planned.
Love these 4 boys more than anything!  So lucky to have 4 Valentines

Shopping and lunch with sweet friends :: baking cookies

We had a cold front that dropped down to -23 degrees F for a couple days.  This is how Everett dressed walking into church- hoodies and shorts forever.  :: Dr. Suess week

Everett's pizza essay and getting to cash it in for a free slice

Brian created the Ice Cube Challange- who can keep their bare feet on the ice cubes the longest.
The boys went nuts over it

Just heading to school

Everett's 100 days of 1st grade.
He was all about dressing up, from the neck up, ha!

Grayson started watching Planes Fire & Rescue, but he has to play with his planes characters while watching the movie and reenacting it

My bus stop buddy

When you have to take out the trash in your undies :: Zonked

Bath bubbles

Waiting for swim lessons :: Trying out Everett's bike

Glow necklaces

Fun snow day sledding!
All the boys love the snow but I was pleasantly surprised at how much Grayson LOVED everything about sledding and how well he did!  He loved going down and going fast and really only needed help walking up the steep parts of the hill.  He never seemed to get tired and never complained.
It was our easiest sledding day to date!  I think I've finally made it past the toddler sledding debacles.
