Fraserrand Wedding

My brother Jamaal and Betseygail got married in Austin 2 weeks ago...on OU/TX weekend... yeah- great timing on their part ;)  The weekend was awesome- the wedding was unique to them- and that little niece of mine just keeps getting cuter and cuter!!  (I apologize in advance- I am biased toward her when picking out my favorite pics)

The Fraser Men

BG wrote this awesome story/monologue/speech to Jamaal about how their life together so far, what their life will be like and why she loves being with him.  It was amazing.... definitely  bawling at this point in the ceremony.

Kyle was in charge of the music...

The theme for their reception was "Under the Sea"...they dressed Lo up as the an octopus!  SO CUTE!

Photo Booth Greatness

We had a photo booth at our wedding... and it was probably our favorite part of the whole event.

Jamaal and Betseygail had one at theirs this past weekend too...and it proved amazing once again!  You can tell modesty does not run in our family!

Baby Lola

I CANNOT WAIT to get my hands on this little munchkin when we're in Austin for Jamaal's wedding this weekend.  I seriously could just eat. her. up.  I love my baby niece, Lorraine!

(Just focus on her sweet face and not the fact she's cheering for the wrong team)

Ethan Edward Shawnee

My sister-in-law Jackie had our first baby nephew on Brian's side of the family almost 2 weeks ago.  Ethan Edward Shawnee was born on Tuesday, September 29th, 2009.  Weighed 6 lbs 15 oz and was 19" long.  Labor and delivery went smoothly and mama and baby are doing great!  Here are some pics of the sweet little man:

So precious!

ChemE Reminiscing

These are a few of my friends.  They are all chemical engineers.  We took 80% of the same classes in college- ALL of the same classes the last 2 years.  In chemical engineering you are assigned ridiculous homeworks, labs, reports, and projects.  Thus, we have spent many MANY hours together.  A lot of that time was stuck in a computer lab....all hours of the day and night.  We ate lunch every day together (usually only rotating between the 5 staples on Campus Corner: Chick-fil-A, Jimmy John's, Moe's, Pita Pit, and that pizza place I can't name right now), did all our homework together (cross-pollination), and laughed A LOT together.  They are probably the funniest people I know and so many of my favorite memories and pictures from college are with them.

I think we are all completely different- have different tastes, styles, hobbies... but somehow we got along so well and became really close.  We have seen each other at our bests...and worsts.  We have all grown up and apart and moved to different cities in the last 4 1/2 years, but somehow I still feel close with every one of them.

Anyways... Mira got married in Oklahoma City on October 3rd and we were able to come together for a mini ChE reunion (minus Monica and Mark).

Here are some pics from her sweet backyard reception...

My Go-To Girls

These girls are my Go-To solution for so many occasions....wedding invites, shower invites, baby announcements, birthday cards, Christmas cards, and even baby gifts.  They do it all- and I love it all!
We received SO many compliments on our wedding invitations and all the stationary details from our ceremony and reception- I thought I would give credit where credit is due.

The KoJo girls (aka Kirstin and Jordan) are so sweet and put together a bunch of our wedding details for us!  They grew up in Farmington as well, and I was actually good friends/swimming teammates with their little sister, Kedron.  When I came across their blog and Etsy shop- I knew they were PERFECT for doing our wedding invites.  Once those turned out amazing... I recruited them to do everything else paper related.  Here are the incredibley personal and amazing things they put together for us:
