December Updates

We initially had plans to go cut down our Christmas tree again this year with friends, but the Big 12 Conference Title game fell on the same day and Brian nixed those plans pretty quick, ha.
So we hit the tree farm and over paid for this perfect tree

Biggest and Littlest.  We were dying over Grayson in this puffy coat!
Also still working on our family selfie skills.
We had a fun night down in Castle Rock with these awesome friends!

Finally getting to try on 'the goggles'
All of my boys have gone through stages of being obsessed with these.
I think we are just starting with this one

Brian's company Christmas party downtown
We had an awesome night out with so many of our friends we haven't seen in awhile

Snuggle bug

snack buddies :: Braxton's class did a while unit on the Grinch over December.
They built the story up to when his hear grew three sizes because he found Jesus
On the last day, they all dressed up as "Grinch" characters (or in Green or Christmas) and watched the movie.
How amazing are his teachers all decked out in front of their amazing door!?

"Bring your elf to school" day
Of course you can't touch them or they will lose their magic... so everyone's elf came in a container

Sweet Peanut

Just playing

picking the big boys up from school :: fun movie date with our friends one Friday afternoon

busted :: someone is becoming a good napper

too cool for school
I seriously cannot even handle his cute little face and how pumped he was to wear the backpack

Over it while waiting at the Dr's

We went to Boondocks over the break to get the boys out of the house one afternoon.
This tiny peanut thought he was so big and cool standing on the railing with the big boys

Trying on Papa's glasses

Mimi feeding 4 little beggars

Santa

{December 3rd}

We got to see Santa twice this year.
The first time was our our church 'Santa Fly In', where Santa arrived via helicopter.
We scheduled our time at the very end of the event so we missed his arrival, but we got super lucky and got to see him leave via helicopter too!
The boys were pumped and it was pretty fun to see the helicopter take off

Of course the big boys ate it right up, but Grayson was super leery of Santa and clearly was not having it when we just put him on their lap.

Santa gaining favor with a  high five

We hit up the face painting station and then went outside to check out the fire trucks.
We've had amazing fall weather this year and it was so nice out.

Watching Santa take off

Quick little run on the fire hoses before we left

The second time we went down to our neighborhood clubhouse to see Santa like we usually do every year.
I should have just called it quits after the first Santa while I was ahead.
Grayson wanted nothing to do with Santa #2 and the boys were more silly and not as into it the second time either.
