Moab

We went camping down in Moab last weekend with 4 other couples (and a few extras). It was a short trip- drove down Friday and back on Sunday. We stayed at a 'desert resort'...basically a designated RV park/campground.... Kind of awkward to camp in such a populated place but it worked for us since we had such a large group. The boys spent most of Saturday out dirt biking and some of the other wives/girlfriends and I went hiking around Arches National Park. My favorite part was the campfires each night... there were 4 people who can play guitar and sing (2 of them our in our favorite local country band, Switchyard Social Club) and 2 brought guitars so they would just rotate around playing and singing for everyone... loved it!
Not our truck... but everyones cars/trucks were this packed out

BFF Weekend #2

One of my best friends was in town again to search for a job (PS... if you are an elementary teacher or know one in Denver LET ME KNOW!!).  The agenda for the weekend consisted of my favorite pizza place, going to see Switchyard Social Club again, a rugby game, and going out dancing!!!  I LOVE you friend- hurry up and move here!!
On our way to dinner... I LOVE living in CO!!!!
At the rugby game
We decided last minute to go out dancing on Saturday night, therefore we were a little underdressed (or overdressed, if you will).  This is us in our "mom" outfits... b/c we looked like moms compared to everyone else.
had SUCH A BLAST dancing!!

Seattle

About a month ago I was basking in the thought that we didn't have any summer plans for May or June... we could just hang out, get things done around the house, and catch up on some yard projects.  As of 2 weeks ago, we had 6 weekends in a row of things planned.  Now we're just trying to stay sane amongst all the weekend plans and work traveling during the weekdays.

Weekend one was a trip to Seattle.  Brian had a week long training class for work so I flew up the last weekend he was there to hang out.  We loved Seattle!!  Such a cool city.  We did the normal things like the Space Needle (which was a rip-off...), wandered around the waterfront and market and ate some awesome seafood with friends.  We also went and toured the Boeing facility/assembly line and got to see them making the 747's and new 787's (I AM married to an aerospace nerd engineer).  It was actually really cool to see and we got to see them deliver a plane to a customer (aka the plane take off and "wave" goodbye).  We weren't allowed to take any cameras, purses, cell phones, chapstick, etc on the tour so we don't have any pics of that part but here is the rest of our trip....
We went to an awesome park that had an incredible view of the city... too bad it was freezing!!!
Our awesome waterfront hotel
The very first Starbucks
The best mac n' cheese ever!
My favorite part... tons and tons of GORGEOUS flowers!!!!
