Sunflower Farm

{October 4th}

Braxton's fall field trip for school was up to Sunflower Farm.  Its a real working farm about an hour north and it was amazing!

It was basically just a free for all once we got there... they had old bulldozers, tractors, and a plane that the kids could just climb all over.  A huge silo sandbox, corn kernel coop, swings everywhere, a zip line, a huge tree house with rope bridges, tons of hay bales to climb around on, a fire pit with marshmallows to roast, and tons of animals to feed.  They had wheel barrels full of corn just sitting out everywhere so you can help yourself and feed as much as you'd like.  It was literally a little kids dream day.  Apparently its gotten so popular that you have to make a reservation to go and can't just drop by, but we will definitely be making a reservation to go back next year!

Everett LOVED feeding all the animals... it was probably his favorite part.
He would fill his pockets totally full with kernels so he was already ready, ha

Grayson loved the goats too

So glad Mimi was able to come along with us!

The bulldozer was a big hit as well

This plane was awesome!
The kids could climb inside and mess with all the controls

Love these little bestie neighbors
