Camping

{September 19th}

We wanted to make it up camping at least once more before the summer was over so we made a last ditch effort and headed up to our go-to spot.

None of our friends were able to come so we went with just our little family.

These boys sure love camping, but it didn't go entirely smoothly.

It got pretty cold at night and both boys had just caught nasty colds a couple days before.

I didn't really think about how bad it would make them feel but Everett did not sleep at all, and therefore Brian and i didn't sleep at all either.

Our poor buddy woke up about every 30 minutes crying and stuffed up and congested all night long.

I felt soo bad for him and a little guilty that we were camping in 40 degree weather with a sick baby.

Besides the LONG night... both boys still had fun and loved helping daddy collect wood, exploring and roasting marshmallows.

It is so much work with little ones but its getting easier each time we go.

Can't wait to pick back up next summer!

Zoo with Friends

{September 11th}

Sarah is a best friend of mine from college and even though we haven't seen each other since our weddings 6 years ago, it was so fun to pick up like no time had passed at all.

Her family was in Colorado for a wedding and they spent a few extra days hanging out with us.

We had the best time hanging out, catching up, and hitting the zoo.

Sarah's oldest is about 5 weeks younger then Braxton and she has a sweet new baby.

Sam and Braxton hit it off right away and were the sweetest little best buddies all weekend.
