Pregnancy Update

I had an ultrasound at 26 weeks and the doctor said this baby is huge!
It was already measuring 2 lbs, 3 ozs (almost 2 weeks ahead of schedule)
I have already grown out of several maternity shirts so it will be a long 2 months coming up.
Don't judge if you see me wearing the same 4 or 5 things over and over for the next 2 months.
But baby is also moving like crazy so that is fun!
I am already huge too and have started getting uncomfortable.
Thankfully, my feet and hands haven't started swelling (too bad) yet.
I'm sure its coming.
I have also been craving sweets like crazy!
It's not as bad when I am home but for some reason every afternoon at work I have to have candy.

I am still convinced this baby is another boy.
Mostly because my pregnancy seems so similar to last time- although I feel a bit more emotional this time around.
We've narrowed it down to 3 boy names and 3 girl names so hopefully something jumps out to us in the next month or so.
I still have several things on my TO DO list before baby comes and I'm starting to panic just a tad about getting them done.  If this one is early like Braxton was, I technically only have 7 weeks left- YIKES!

We've also been reading 'big brother' books to Braxton and transitioning him to his big boy room.
He's been pretty into it and I think he'll be a great big brother when this baby comes!

Riding the Santa Train

Apparently the train wore him out... for the first time EVER in his life, he didn't wake up when we got him out of his carseat and even slept like this all through lunch

Trying out his snow pants for the first time... just as in love as he is with his snow boots.

Helping daddy tape/paint.
Braxton is so observant!  He watched Brian and then with every piece of tape he had, worked carefully to line them up in a straight line.

LOVES his snow boots

Such a good flyer

Last day in diapers!  (and of course... snow boots!)

Santa Train

{November 17th}

We met up with some sweet friends to ride the Santa Train to the North Pole.
It's basically the COG railway that goes up Pikes Peak, but they turn it into the 'Santa Train' around Christmas and only run it about half way up.

It's a bit pricey for what you get, but Braxton had fun and I'm really glad we did it with him.
It's about a 30-45 min ride up to the North Pole and Santa, Mrs Claus and their elves ride with you and sing Christmas carols.
At the top, you get to sit on Santas lap and they give you cookies and hot chocolate and then head back down.

Braxton was soo excited to ride the big choo choo and was in total AWE the whole way up.
He just sat there next to Brian, so quiet, with huge eyes.

He freaked when he met Santa last  year but he was very brave this year!
You could tell he was super nervous and still clung to Brian, but he still waved, sat on his lap and even told him what he wanted for Christmas (cars, tools, and books)

(the lighting in the house up top was so funky so the exposure of these pics is all over the place.
Even though it looks bad, I still love this pic of us with Santa)

And my most favorite pic of the day…
