Buzz Lightyear

{April 6th}

Everett hawk-eyed Braxton's old Buzz Lightyear costume in the back of his closet last night and begged to put it on!
He's seen Toy Story and Toy Story 2 in the last couple of weeks and has been all over Woody and Buzz.
He loved it and we had to bribe him to take it off for bed.

Braxton's First Soccer Game

{April 2nd}

We signed Braxton up for soccer this spring for the first time.

They don't really have 'city leagues' so most people sign up through the soccer clubs in town.

We went with the club Storm, per a neighbors recommendation and have been really pleased!

Their under 5 program is called "Sparks" and it just introduces them to basic fundamentals.

They meet for 6 or 7 Saturdays for 45 min and just play different games to teach them how to handle, dribble, shoot, etc.  Then they had a little scrimmage at the end.

Storm provides the coach and ours was so great with the boys!

Braxton loved and can't wait until next week.

Everett was dying to get out there and play with him but luckily we only had 1 minor meltdown when we had to peel him off the field.

Easter 2016

{March 25th}

I only have a few pictures from actual Easter Sunday and they are just a few from Easter morning and the ones where I made the boys line up and try to smile.

Easter was so early this year that it kind of snuck up on us, but we tried to fit in a few fun things.

It ended up snowing that weekend so we had to do an impromtu egg hunt inside.  Not the Easter Bunny's best attempt but luckily they are little and didn't really care or know the difference.

We did manage to paint a few eggs on Good Friday.

The boys weren't as into it as they were last year but we still got some fun little shots.

When I was snapping these, Everett all of a sudden figured out how to smile specifically when someone is taking pics to go with the normal "cheese!".

I die over his little cheesed smiles!
