Catching Toads

{October 17th}

We made a quick weekend trip out to Tulsa this month because we found some cheap plane tickets.

The boys caught this big gross toad and were loving it!

Braxton was all about it and loved holding it and moving it around.

Everett was super curious but did not want to touch it and any time it moved or jumped be would freak out and cover his mouth with his hands in excitement...

It was the funniest reaction!

We also got to build a big bonfire and make smores.

Braxton took it upon himself to make sure every puppy got a taste of marshmallow.

Pumpkin Patch

{October 11th}

We met some friends up at the Rock Creek Farms for our first real pumpkin patch experience. 

We've been to a small one down south in Parker before but i was so disappointed in it... it was so overpriced, every single activity cost money, and they just had 1 little corner with a bunch of small $8 pumpkins stacked up to buy.

We were really impressed with Rock Creek and so glad we made the drive up there.

They had tons of patches where you just walked around and cut your own pumpkin and then a main area with some bouncy houses and mazes and such.  

The boys loved the patch and exploring around!

I think we'll definitely be back up next year.

These boys are such dog boys!
