Christmas 2018

We spent Christmas in Denver this year with my side of the family.
Besides a few bouts of strep and flu, we had a great week with cousins!

The beginning of break we went up to Loveland for a ski day.
Braxton skied with Brian and Miles and Lorraine took lessons.  They pulled Miles early in the afternoon so they boys could do some runs together and they loved it!
Claudia also took lessons and did awesome for her first time.
Poor Braxton got hit with something (we're pretty sure it was the flu) a couple days before skiing, but rallied and wanted to come.  He ended up passing out and taking a little nap when we got there but then decided he wanted to ski for a few hours after that.

We spent the rest of the week with cousins mostly just hanging out.  We hit up Spider Monkey one morning with everyone and took the girls to get their nails done too.
All the boys had a great Christmas this year... Santa came through with everyones wish list.  Not sure why I don't have any pics from Christmas morning, but these are from Christmas Eve when we opened all the family presents.

Grayson wasn't overly excited to open gifts.
Since he loved the first 2 things he opened, he just wanted to play with those and could care less about all the rest.

Everett probably had the best reactions.
He was sooo excited to get his Optimus Prime and other Transformers.
He was so sweet and appreciative and these sweet pics with Aunt Claudia are some of my favorites!

December Updates

I had to take pics of all the kids in Braxton's class for a Christmas project and this buddy wanted in on the action too

Love this cutie pie :: Taking over Papa's chair

Probably the only time he's ever napped on the couch

Potty training in action :: fun dinner date for New Years Eve

Everyone loves when daddy is home at night :: someone had a lot of fun at school with the cloud dough

Sam our Elf brought matching jammies and Advent calendars for the first day of December

Brian's company Christmas party.  So fun to get dressed up and hang out with some of best friends for a night out.  We totally ditched Mimi with a  sick baby and then ended up leaving early ourselves cause Brian was sick and felt so miserable.

Everett's school Christmas Program.
We had it out over him wearing a button up shirt and nice pants (i.e. not gym shorts) so after a massive fit where we dropped him off in his class crying, I finally caved and let him ditch the nice shirt.
He was so pissed at us and couldn't recover in time so he just stood up there silent with his hands in his pockets (and his Star Wars tshirt) and refused to sing.

Everett is awesome at coloring!  He is super careful and colors exactly in the lines.  Love his little creations :: Parker and Braxton at a buddies birthday party

Just watching a show before bed

Got to join this cutie for his first class Christmas party.  He was so excited!
But also got nervous and refused to sing a word of his song even though he knew ALL the words

Finally discovered the little kids discounted jump time at Sky Zone and have been trying to take the littles a few times during the week when they are home with me

One of my very favorite sites

At Braxton's class Christmas party.
He has the very best teacher and the sweetest class this year.

Santa

{December 15th}

We did our usual "stories with santa" at our neighborhood clubhouse this year.
I got the cutest Christmas t-shirts for the boys and this is the only time I was able to get them to wear them.  The big boys loved seeing Santa and I'm so glad Braxton is still totally into believing.
Grayson started to get a little nervous when we were in line waiting and was very interested in who the big guy was.
When it was time to sit on his lap, he was definitely like "no way!", ha!
He did much better when he could sit next to him and just hold hands.
Good thing we had 3 good boys this year!
