Flathead Lake 2013

{August 10th - 16th}

Montana was a blast, as always.
With 4 grandkids under 4, it was definitely the most chaotic yet!
We got to meet my sweet niece, Willa, for the first time and of course fell in love.
Braxton had a great time with his cousins.
Him and Lorraine seem to be the closest even though he is less than a year younger than Miles.
Miles and him kind of just do their own things, but Lorraine has become such a good buddy.
We spent the week doing what we usually do:
playing, riding jet skiis, riding the boat, tubing, hot tubbing, hiking, napping, watching movies and riding papa's toys.

Braxton never whined once about having to wear his life jacket...
and I'm still dying over his little water shoes!

A girl after my own heart...
Lorraine found all my old dance costumes and had a blast trying them on.
"I wanna wear that one forever!"

We hiked Wild Horse Island one morning.
We didn't see any wild horses like last year, but we saw a ton of huge big horned sheep

Braxton rode the jet skiis for the first time this year and loved it!
Well, he did not like going fast or when they got too far away from the dock/house.
But he did love when he got to push the throttle himself.

He also rode the tube but wasn't as big of a fan yet.
I'm sure next year we won't be able to keep him off of it.
Lorraine and Miles loved it this year, though.

The slip and slide was also a hit.

The last night we went to eat at a smokehouse around the lake that has 'pet' bunnies...
Really tame bunnies that hang around the restaurant and that they give you food to feed.
We figured they would give us carrots or lettuce.... NOPE... potato chips!
