{August 19th}
Everett is definitely our little spit fire child and dare devil.
He is so busy and crazy and fun right now!
(sorry for the repeat of Montana pics... just some of my favorite!)
He is an awesome sleeper!
He still sometimes needs a little power nap in the morning but usually just takes 1 good nap right after lunch and is ready for bed around 7/7:30pm.
He drinks milk then gets his paci and blankie and off we go to bed every night.
Sometimes we rock him for a minute just to get some snuggles but we lay him down awake and he doesn't make a peep.
Then just puts himself to sleep!
In the morning, he'll wake up and just stand there at his crib and make a few noises for us to come get us.
Seriously... he has the best sleep habits right now!
He is also a great eater for the most part.
He eats great at every meal and usually isn't too picky.
Favorites include avocado/guacamole, cheese, cereal, goldfish, all veggies (carrots, broccoli, zucchini), hot dogs, corn on the cob, raisins, and ice cream.
He's also recently discovered marshmallows.
He still likes Braxton the best and follows him and copies him all day long.
Braxton has gotten a lot more patient with him and they are playing pretty well together.
They are also fighting over toys more... ugh.
He loves slides and swings and riding in the wagon or on his bike.
He also goes straight for the sandbox when we're out in the back yard.
He has figured out how to work the iPad and iPhone.
We keep our phones locked, which frustrates him, but if its unlocked he can swipe to get in.
He also knows which folder has kid apps/games and which one is Disney Junior (so he can watch shows).
He also loves climbing and is still such a monkey.
His newest trick is climbing up on the ottoman and trying to jump over to the couch.
He also started jumping off the ottoman into a pile of pillows on the ground.
He can drive the wiggle car and his Y-Bike around no problem now.
He has some serious steering and speed skills and zips around the kitchen island.
He also loves his tricycle and tries to pedal by himself.
He is saying so many words and can usually repeat whatever we ask him to.
He knows everyone in our family and Mimi, Papa and Nana and can pick us out in a picture.
He has started using manners on his own and will say 'Please' when prompted and 'Thank You' on his own.
He seems to like daycare but hates when we drop him off lately... lots of tears.
Breaks my heart!
He is always so pumped when we come to pick him up, though.
He loves to put on his backpack and walk out to the car on his own.
He has never minded the car seat but loves when he gets to face forward.
He has also started wanting to help buckle the buckle on it.
He has started to throw tantrums and fits.
He's perfected the pouty lip and if he gets mad he'll pick something up to throw it down.
He's also started hitting.
I'm guessing we'll start time out in the next several weeks.
He pees on the floor every.single.time we get him out of the bath tub.
And he loves to help put on his lotion.
He loves books and getting read to.
He is so cute when we ask him questions or to point things out and he loves when we get interactive with them.
He can eagle eye every plane in the sky and points and shouts 'pane!' every time he sees one.
He is such a lover and hands out lots of hugs and kisses and snuggles.
This last time my parents were here this month was the first time he got sad and upset when they left.
He busted out the pouty lip and bust into tears when my dad said goodbye and they drove off.
It was so sad!
As always... this stage seems to be flying by way too fast!
We are sure eating up all his cuteness that we can!
