March Updates

Braxton :: 3 1/2 Years
Everett :: 13 Months

Everett now has 5 teeth with 5 more coming in at once.
I thought he just had 1 coming in on top and when I was feeling around his gums the other day, I noticed 3 molars had started to pop through already and 1 more was swollen!

After trying to teach him to sign 'more' for a few months he randomly started doing it the other day.
Just like he's always known it.
He can also sign 'all done' and 'please'.

He hasn't shown to be really be a picky eater but his favorites definitely are avocado, cheese, and any kind of fruit.

He walks around like he owns the house.

He has already started throwing little tantrums.
If you put him down, don't pick him up when he wants or take something away, he immediately plops to the floor, hangs his head and busts out the crying.

(school pictures... I die over the interlocking fingers!)

We kind of dropped the ball for St Patricks day at home this year but luckily his teachers went all out and he ate up every bit of it!
After school he was soo excited to tell us about the sneaky little leprechaun that played tricks on them all day at school.
He turned their milk green, turned their water green, left green footprints everywhere, peed green in the toilet and didn't flush...  he loved it!
He also knows that he lives at the end of rainbow and if you find him, you get to keep his pot of gold.
Hearing him recount his day and how into it he was, was probably my favorite part of the month!

He can say mama, dada, uh-oh, and ball.
Brian also thinks he heard him say 'Bye Bye' too.

Braxton has been soaking up the information lately and we love it!
He learns about a new unit every week at school and its so fun to hear him tell us about it.
The last two have been reptiles/snacks and automobiles.
He knows several different snakes, how to tell if its a rattle snack and what to do if you see one.
He also knows where the engine in a car is, how to check the oil, and that your car will be broken and won't go if you run out of gas, ha.

He has started getting into Mickey Mouse Clubhouse and stops right in his tracks when it comes on.
If he wants to watch it, he'll point to the TV and whine.

He has become a little helper.
He loves to take his diaper or any other wrapper and throw it in the trash.

(date with my love to see the Garth Brooks concert)

Braxton has been super into Ninja Turtles lately and we all have our designated names.
He is always Leonardo, Brian is Donatello, Everett is Michelangelo, and I am always April (the reporter).
Rafael gets passed around to whoever else is around.... lately its been Papa Jim.
He always refers to us in our turtle names, even in normal conversation, and he never misses a beat.
If I ask him something about Everett he always replies referring to him as Michelangelo.

He is also obsessed with wearing his Ninja Turtles tshirt every day he can.
We just got 3 new ones to cut down on the debate in the morning.
Every place he goes, he always wants to tell people what all the turtle names are.

(they love to drive into the garage)

(crazy boys... they love being outside)

I really can't say enough how much he adores Braxton.
And Braxton has gotten really good about interacting and playing with him more.
He loves to act silly and make Everett laugh and give him a sword and lets Everett follow him around "playing" ninja turtles with him.

We think Everett is going to be such a little daredevil and doesn't seem to show any fear so far.
When we've taken him down a huge inflatable slide he goes crazy and points to go down it over and over again.

He can climb up and down stairs.
