9 Months

{November 19th}

Ahh...time is flying by too fast!
This little chunk has been a busy boy...

9 month stats:
Weight = 19.5 lbs (55%)
Height = 65%
Head size = 79%

He started crawling and pulling up just before 8 months and now he is all over the place.
He is a speedy little crawler and we call him our little puppy right now.
He crawls over and then gets up on his knees with the cutest smile and just acts so excited to see us and wants us to pick him up.
He goes straight the baby gate at the stairs and I know it won't be long until he is in all the cabinets as well.

He is also talking steps with a walker and has even stood on his own for several seconds a few times.
I still have a feeling he'll be walking by Christmas.

He is finally sleeping through the night!
He has been a good sleeper since 3-4 months old but he has been getting up once a night around 3 am most of the time.
It hasn't really bothered me since chug a bottle quickly, burp, and then zonk right back out.
Randomly about a month ago he just started sleeping through the night and it has been awesome!

He is starting to outgrow his 6-12 mth clothes and is already wearing some 12-18 mth clothes.
It's so weird to see him in things at 9 months that Braxton wore at 18 mths.

He has become such a good eater in the last week or two.
Not sure if he's hit a growth spurt or not, but he's been scarfing his baby food down and now gotten really into finger foods.

His gagging issue has really seem to get much better in the last week or two as well.
It still happens and he still throws up but it seems to happen maybe 10% of the time instead of 50%.
He's been loving blueberries, pears, peaches, avocado and banana.
Now that he's eating better we'll throw more things into the mix.
We've also got the OK to start cheese and yogurt.

He can hold his own bottle.
He takes about 5 bottles a day and eats 2-3 times a day.

He is still so happy every morning when he wakes up.
He'll only cry if you lay him down to change his diaper right away.
If you wait until after he has a bottle, he stays happy.

He can sign 'milk' and 'all done' and wave 'bye bye'
