Braxton Updates

This is the age of extremes... when he's being good or cute, he's soo cute and cracks us up with the things he does and says.
When he's being bad... he is so rotten!
His tantrums lately are a total nightmare.

He always says "It will be alright, mommy" or "It will be fine"

He is so clumsy and accident prone.
The other day he was running down the sidewalk and tripped over his shoe or something- scraping his knees, arms, nose and lip.  One hour later he was climbing on the couch and fell off the back, splitting open his head.

Whenever he wants something or wants to do something... he rambles it off and then ends his sentence with "right?!", like it was your idea.

He has such a great memory!
He always remember what we are planning to do for the day if we tell him beforehand.

He has really been into singing.
This melts my heart!!
He can sing "You are my Sunshine", but always wants to change 'gray' to 'blue'
(since the sky is blue... and its only gray when the storms come in)
He can also sing 'Sweet Chariot', 'Itsy Bitsy Spider', 'Helper Kind of Good' and a few others he's learned at school.

We have a map up in his room and he's learned almost half of the states.

He has learned that yellow and blue make green and that red and blue make purple from using the color changing tablets in the bath tub.

Is still obsessed with Sherriff Callie's Wild West on Disney Junior.
It has become quite the bargaining tool for us.
He's also picked up some funny phrases from the show...
The other day he busted out "what in tarnation are you doing?!"

He's informed us that he wants chocolate cupcakes with yellow sprinkles for his birthday.

He talks nonstop, but gets super shy around people he doesn't know or unfamiliar situations.

He has become quite dramatic lately... if he doesn't get his way or his feelings get hurt just a little bit, he puts on this big pouting scene and sulks around waiting for you to give him pity.

Still loves to help Brian with everything... putting things together, mowing the lawn, etc.

He has started putting on and taking off his own clothes.
Sometimes they are backwards or inside out, but its a start!

He loves to come with me to get Everett up out of his crib in the mornings.

At least half of the time, he wakes up in the morning and from his nap in a super grumpy mood.
It is the worst!
He'll whine and cry... sometimes for 30 minutes straight and nothing seems to cheer him up.
