We had a pretty low key Easter weekend this year.
My birthday fell on Good Friday so we were lucky to go out and celebrate!
(Thanks to Uncle Jeremy for babysitting!)
We dyed eggs on Saturday afternoon and it went much better than expected!
Braxton was very into it and loved standing on his stool helping out.
He listened to directions and was pretty good at just stirring his egg with his spoon.
He would grab the eggs out of the cups a few times
leaving stained fingers and only 2 spilled cups of dye but I still consider it a success.

Braxton spotted his Easter basket first thing in the morning and loved going through it.
He wasn't super interested in his presents at Christmas but he's caught on since then.
He pulled out each item, pointed and got excited, and then went to the next one.
Since we were out late on Friday night, we didn't have it together enough on Saturday morning
to make our big neighborhood egg hunt or any others.
Instead, we went to church Sunday morning and then just hid a dozen eggs in the yard for Nug to find when he woke up from his nap.
We put a marshmallow in each one so he'd get excited about finding more.
He caught on super quick and loved the treat!
He would open the egg, eat the marshmallow right away, close the egg, put it in his basket, and then walk off to find the next egg.
He would only run when we would get excited and get him pumped up.
I love this little bunny of mine!
