{August 13th}
My baby started 1st grade this year!
No one prepares you for how emotional it is to send your firstborn to a big school for the first time.
He might as well just go and graduate next year!
We had an awesome summer but he was so ready and excited to get back to school!
Our new elementary school isn't quite finished so they are sending us to a new nearby middle school for the first 2 months. After fall break we'll be at our new school in our neighborhood.
With his teacher Mrs. Ayler (we love her!)
He also lucked out and got his best buddy Parker in his class this year.
There was some miscommunication on the first day and they sent him home on the bus instead of parent pick-up.
Everyone was excited to greet him and of course he thought it was the coolest to ride it home the first day.
He is the sweetest boy!
We are so excited for him to have a great year.
