We celebrated Christmas with my parents a little early since they were headed down to Austin and we were headed to Oklahoma for actual Christmas.
The boys got some new bath robes/towels, little finger monkeys, some legos and Grayson got Tickle Me Elmo.
We drove out to Oklahoma both ways in one day and we made it in 11 hours... great time for Grayson's first all day road trip.
He isn't a big fan of the carseat so we were kind of nervous, but he actually did great. And of course the bigger boys do awesome on road trips.
Jackie, Ethan and Nolan all had the stomach bug a day or so before we got there so we knew it might be a rough week. Overall 18 of the 21 people got some version of it, ha!
Poor Grayson got the worst of it.
He puked all over me as we were literally walking into church for Christmas Eve. Then proceeded to puke for the next 2 nights.
Everett didn't feel great on Christmas morning but didn't get sick.
And Braxton got diarrhea on our drive back home... that was fun.
Due to all the sickness we had a pretty low key week.
We managed to go see the new Star Wars and just spent lots of time hanging out with everyone.
The boys were psyched for Santa and he actually came 3 times while we were there!
He stopped at Nana and Oppys house early. Then made an actual appearance at the Shawnee house on Christmas Eve to give everyone an early gift.
The boys LOVED this- especially Everett!
He was so enamored by Santa and kept wanting to just talk to him.
He was stoked with a new Batman costume.
And then of course Santa came Christmas morning and brought the big boys new bikes!
When we got home Braxton told our neighbor that Santa came to see us 3 times!
When Parker asked how come, Braxton just shrugged his shoulders and causally said "I don't know. I guess we just got lucky!" ha :)
I love all the magic that these 3 boys bring during the holidays!
Happy to be with cousins!
When Santa stopped by the house on Christmas Eve...
So happy
Leaving cookies out for Santa
