{October 31st}
We carved pumpkins the Saturday before Halloween this year.
Both boys were super into it and loved to clean them out.
They were also both excited about their designs and were dying to help.
I picked fun themes for them to choose, but of course they were difficult and they couldn't carve any of it... so Brian and I did them all, ha!
Braxton was a policeman/swat guy this year and Everett was a dinosaur.
I didn't have anything picked out for Grayson because... you know, 3rd child.
But last minute we made him into a little froggy.
Just before dinner our neighbors called to let us know we had a big buck hanging out in the front yard.
I guess it was kind of injured and has been hanging out in the neighborhoods.
It stood there eating leaves for a good 30 minutes and then just laid down to hang out for awhile.
We called out the police and ended up just spraying it with a hose to get it to move on.
While the police was there, he spotted Braxton all dressed up and called him over.
Brian and I both missed the exact conversation but our neighbor said he called out to him
"hey! Police man over there... come over here"
He called him over and entertained conversation for a good 10 minutes.
Braxton was in HEAVEN!!
He got to show him his hand cuffs and then the officer told him all about his real ones and all of his weapons and radios.
It was so awesome.
I attempted to get some group pics but this is the best I got.
Both boys LOVED it and had so much fun!
Braxton ran from house to house and could have kept going even after we made it around our whole loop. Everett also surprised us and loved it too... he also made it around the whole loop without complaining and was so dang cute walking up to each house and saying Trick or Treat.
Holidays sure are fun with these little boys!
