We are so excited to welcome our 3rd baby boy:

Grayson Berkeley Beam

He came at 38 weeks and 4 days and I'm not sure I could have waited one second more to meet him.

I started leaking some amniotic fluid on Friday morning and headed into the hospital to check and they admitted me around 8:30am.  I was already 4 cm dilated coming in to the hospital and they had me labor on my own a little and then they started pitocin around 11:30m.  I sort of stalled around 7-7.5cm all afternoon so my doctor came in and broke my water completely around 4:30pm.  I went from 7 to 10 cm in about 45 minutes, pushed for about 15 minutes and little man made his entrance!

We were really shocked at how 'small' he was... we definitely thought he'd be at least 9 lb after he was 'measuring' 8 lb 4 oz at our 36 week ultrasound.

But he was still a little chubby and perfect and we love him so much!
He has Braxton's small chin and really long fingers.
He also has HUGE feet with long toes (from the Beam side)... same as both Braxton and Everett when they were born too.

 

 

 

 

The boys were excited to meet him but haven't really showed much interest since then.

Everett liked getting to help check him out in the hospital but was scared to sit on the bed with me (he didn't like all the wires and machines)

And once we got home, they've both sort of ignored him.

 

 

He is the sweetest little thing and we already love him so much!!
So glad he is finally here!
