{November 16th}
This handsome buddy has been exploding with new baby tricks that I wanted to make sure to document it all.
We have a walker!!
He's been standing up in the middle of the room on his own and taking a few steps for awhile now, but right at 13 1/2 months, he took off.
He's never cruised furniture before and would never hold our hands to walk either.
He basically hated any help.
So we knew that whenever he was ready, he would just do it on his own time.
And randomly one day he just stood up and walked down the entire hallway on his own.
Even after 2-3 weeks, he's progressed so much.
He squats and stands back up, loves to carry around large objects (like light sabers), and can turn circles.
He has even started to try and jump now.
He's been doing stairs for awhile now too but I don't remember if i've documented it yet.
He crawls up and can crawl down on his tummy too.
We should probably just put the baby gate away because he can open it on his own and help himself down the stairs when he wants anyways.
He's been waving bye-bye and will sometimes say it too.
He hasn't shown any interest in any other signs we've been working on but he will try to copy the words we say.
Besides 'mama' and dada', his first word is "ball" and he'll say it when he gets anything that resembles a ball.
He can also recognize a banana and say "nana".
He knows who mama, dada, Baba (Braxton) and Everett are and will look their way when we ask where they are.
He also knows Mimi and Papa too but won't say their name.
He can say "Papa" but he only whispers it, ha.

He loves animals and my parents puppies.
He'll give them lots of hugs and kisses but he won't give us any kisses.
He can tell you what a fish, lion, and sheep say. And he'll copy you when you say Moo for cow and Neigh for horse.
We've been working on body parts but he hasn't shown any interest at all!
I'm pretty sure he knows several, but will only show you his feet if you ask.
He has two teeth on top and two on bottom and with the exception of like 3 weeks this fall, I feel like he is ALWAYS teething. Ugh. He is the worst teether, too.
So much drool, snot and he is sooo fussy and whiney. Its just so miserable for him and his teeth come in so slowly.
We've gotten into a pretty solid sleep routine finally.
He usually naps in the morning around 9/9:30 for an hr and in the afternoons around 12:30/1 for 1-2 hours. And he almost always goes to bed right at 7.
He wakes up between 6 and 6:30 but will usually just hang out and talk until we come get him between 6:30 and 7 am.
I wish we could transition out of his morning nap and just do quick car naps but he isn't a long napper in the afternoon and is kind of a wreck if we don't have a morning one still.
He only has a bottle when he wakes up and before bed and drinks out of various sippy cups and water bottles throughout the day. Hopefully we can ditch the bottle by Christmas!
He loves to give high fives.
He also loves to be outside playing (or near/with the brothers).
He's pretty happy just exploring around and wants to ride on the bikes and scooters so bad.
He also loves balls and likes to throw them and play 'catch'.
He loves bath time and taking showers with us.
He's just like Everett as a baby and loves to sit in the middle of the shower and just let the water pour down on his head, ha.
Besides the teething fussiness... Grayson has gotten so much fun!!!
We love this age so dang much and its kind of bittersweet going through it one last time.
He is getting such a fun and spunky little personality!
