Cheyenne Mountain Zoo

{October 18th}

We finally made it out to Cheyenne Mountain Zoo over Fall Break this year and it did not disappoint!

We had the best time!

Of course we started off in the giraffe exhibit feeding them lettuce.  I was shocked that they had no staff or supervision in this area and let people just interact.  All the giraffes were very mellow and friendly and the boys got such a kick out of them eating lettuce off the top of their heads.

By far the coolest experience!

The second area we hit up had these little kangaroos (wallaby's?) just out and about roaming freely.  This little guy was hanging behind the rope but one of the staff members said they usually make it down and walk around on the same path as people too.

Pumpkin Patch

{October 16th}

We met up with friends at Nick's Garden Center this year and the boys had a great time!
It isn't quite as awesome as Sunflower Farm or Anderson Farms- the more traditional farms and pumpkin patches we've been too but it checked off some boxes and still got us in a festive mood.

So glad Mimi was able to join us.
